The 17th edition of the International Music Summit opened the Ibiza summer season at IMS Dalt Vila, once again transforming a UNESCO World Heritage site into one of the most visually striking stages in electronic music.
Set within the historic walls of Ibiza’s old town, this iconic location hosted a world-class lineup including Pete Tong, Eliza Rose, Ahmed Spins, Ankhoi, and a powerful live closing performance from Faithless Sound System. A night where music, culture, and setting aligned at the highest level.
The Shop Productions: Delivering Full Production at Scale
The Shop Productions was proud to deliver full production for IMS Dalt Vila 2026.
From initial planning through to final execution, our team managed every aspect of the build and technical delivery — working within one of Ibiza’s most complex and protected environments. Dalt Vila is not a conventional venue, and producing at this level requires a precise balance between creative ambition and structural discipline.
The stage and technical systems were designed to integrate seamlessly into the historic surroundings, while supporting a high-impact performance environment for internationally recognised artists. Every element — from rigging to lighting, audio, and show control — was executed with complete coordination and control.
Collaboration with Lighting Designer Nick Jevons
For the 2026 edition, The Shop Productions once again worked alongside lighting and visual designer Nick Jevons, continuing an established collaboration on IMS Dalt Vila. With extensive experience across international stages, Nick brought a clear and structured approach to the lighting design, aligning closely with the technical setup and production requirements of the show. His work translated the scale and energy of the lineup into a cohesive visual output, supporting each performance while maintaining consistency across the full program. The result was a well-executed lighting design that integrated seamlessly with the production and enhanced the overall experience of the event.
Nick Jevons quoted: “At the heart of the design, the Rebel Profile delivers crisp aerial effects, allowing us to sculpt the space with striking definition even in an open-air environment. Complementing this, the Proteus Radius brings a new layer of versatility and resilience—its compact form and weatherproof design make it ideal for outdoor deployment, while its punchy beams and fluid movement add energy that keeps pace with the music.
To amplify audience connection, we’ve integrated the SOL 1 blinder, creating warm, immersive moments that bridge the gap between performer and crowd. Its rich output and smooth dimming curves give us the ability to shift seamlessly from subtle ambiance to full-impact hits.
Together, these fixtures form a cohesive system that balances power, precision, and atmosphere. The result is a vibrant, high-impact visual experience that elevates the performance and transforms the stage into a living, breathing extension of the music”.
Elation Lighting: A Unified System for Precision and Impact
For IMS Dalt Vila 2026, we worked with carefully selected Elation lighting, chosen for its ability to deliver both precision and high-impact performance within a complex outdoor heritage environment. The Elation gear was provided through AdagioPRO, the exclusive
distributor for Elation products in Spain. The system was built around REBEL Profile fixtures, providing a strong technical backbone with CMY color mixing, variable CTO, high CRI output, and a full effects package including rotating and fixed gobos, prisms, frost, and framing shutters — allowing for controlled beam shaping and layered textures across the stage.
Complementing this, Pulse Panel FX units introduced a dynamic visual layer, combining high-output strobe, wash, and continuous pan/tilt movement to create rhythmic energy and evolving stage compositions.
The SŌL Blinder fixtures added intensity and audience connection, using powerful RGBLAW output and modular flexibility to shift from subtle warm tones to full-impact hits, while maintaining a clean visual integration into the stage design.
To extend the visual reach beyond the stage itself, PROTEUS RADIUS fixtures delivered sharp, long-throw aerial beams using laser-driven light sources, enhanced by fast 360° continuous rotation, CMY color control, and effects such as prisms and gobos — creating bold, architectural beam structures across the skyline.
What defined this year’s production was not individual fixtures, but how they worked together.
From the precision of the REBEL Profiles to the movement of the Pulse Panels, the impact of the SŌL Blinders, and the reach of the PROTEUS RADIUS, the system operated as a single, cohesive visual language.
Every cue and transition was built to support the artists, while staying in tune with the space.

IMS Dalt Vila continues to stand as one of the most defining moments in the Ibiza calendar. Not just for its lineup, but for the level of execution it demands behind the scenes.
Set within a UNESCO World Heritage site, the event operates under a unique set of constraints, where scale, timing, and technical performance must align without compromise. It is a production environment that challenges every layer of delivery, from planning and logistics to real-time coordination on show day.
