Aspirational automotive and event brand, Gumball 3000, first used The Shop’s production expertise in 2014 when its week-long celebrity rally headed to Ibiza. When it returned in 2019 passing through Barcelona on its way to the White Isle, the organisers made contact again.

In Barcelona, we hired a city centre car park where the cars could be stored following their journey from France. The Shop provided extra security, crew and private transportation for the rest of the guests’ stay in the city, as well as liaising with the city’s licensing authorities. In Ibiza we produced a huge, free-to-enter public welcome event that attracted thousands of people keen to catch a glimpse of the celebrity drivers and their amazing cars. Our team also provided toilets, a welcome stage, merchandise stands and security. Working closely with the city of Ibiza Town Hall and the Gay Pride Party in the port, we ensured that the Gumball 3000 drivers received a memorable reception.
